Frequently asked questions
Which FAME grade should I offer?
Offer the ester you actually produce or hold — buyers search by grade and feedstock origin because RED compliance differs: crop-based esters face caps, waste-based esters carry double-counting value. Precise listing gets precise bids.
How are FAME cargoes typically priced?
As differentials to gasoil futures or FAME 0% benchmarks in EUR/USD per tonne, set by feedstock, grade, winter quality, volume and delivery basis. The ticker shows indicative market levels for orientation.
Can I trade blended products like B30?
Blends are negotiated with the counterparty once introduced; the core listings are neat esters. Post your request with the target blend, and verified suppliers will respond with what they can deliver.
What is the minimum volume?
Single road tankers (24-30 mt) are common; there is no platform minimum. Larger parcels ship by rail, barge or vessel.
